Jared Leto did Prank on April Fools

April Fool has been taken to another level by Jared Leto. On Monday, the 52-year-old musician and Oscar-winning actor subbed in as a host on the beloved game shows alongside Vanna White as part of an April Fools’ Day prank in the episode of “Wheel Of Fortune.”

Leto told White, 67, “Have a great show and see you soon,” before taking his place at the wheel with the show’s three contestants. “All right, everybody, grab those devices; it’s time to give away some money. A $1,000 in our first toss-up, the category is on the map.”

The show then switched back to regular longtime host Pat Sajak and continued as normal without mentioning Leto’s surprise appearance.

While Sajak or White didn’t mention the shakeup for the rest of the show, fans quickly responded to the prank on social media.

The 30 Seconds to Mars lead singer first appeared on the game show in November to announce the band’s 2024 world tour. That same month, Leto performed another surprising stunt in an effort to promote the band’s upcoming album and world tour.

And although Leto won’t be replacing Sajak as Wheel of Fortune host anytime soon, the longtime game show emcee showplans to retire after its current 41st season. He’ll be handing over the reins to Ryan Seacrest, who described the opportunity as like being a “Kid in a Candy store.”

Sajak is set to say goodbye to the game show in June, while White will stay on as a co-host.
