Rumors about the next James Bond were sparked after the British tabloid “The Sun” reported that 33-year-old British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson had been given the role of 007.
The Sun stated, citing an unnamed source, that “Bond is Aaron’s job, if he wants it. The formal offer is on the table, and they’re waiting to hear back.”
According to reports, the banner Eon Productions hopes to begin filming the 26th Bond film later this year. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 33, whose credits include Kick-Ass, Tenet, and Bullet Train, is the leading candidate for the part. The source went on to say, “As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days and they can start preparing for the big announcement.”
