The Las Vegas Raiders’ interior defensive line earned a significant boost on Monday when lineman Christian Wilkins signed to a four-year, $110 contract.
According to agent David Mulugheta, $84.75 million will be guaranteed. Wilkins, 28, can sign the contract on Wednesday, when the new league year begins. Beginning Monday, players could agree on terms with their teams.
Wilkins spent his first five seasons with the Miami Dolphins, when he became one of the NFL’s best run stoppers. In 2022, he set a league record for his position, totaling 98 tackles. The Raiders ranked 20th in run defense last season, giving 118.5 yards per game.
