Fans have been anxiously anticipating Seraph of the End season 3 since the second season’s end on December 26, 2015. The anime series was directed by Daisuke Tokudo, who has worked on Attack on Titan, Banana Fish, and other projects.
Furthermore, the dark fantasy anime series swiftly acquired popularity and was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2015. Not only that, but the show won multiple accolades and had two seasons, each with 12 episodes with a running duration of 24 minutes.
Seraph of the End Season 3 Release Date
Seraph of the End: Season 3 currently has no release date because the anime has not been renewed. A combination of a limited audience, anger over pace, and lower-than-expected manga sales might explain this.
There is no good evidence to support this, however, one claim suggests that the anime was created specifically to be an advertisement for the manga. It did increase manga sales, but it’s reasonable to suppose that they weren’t enough for the producers to approve another “ad”.
Seraph of the End Season 3 Spoiler
The second season adapted the manga till chapter 41, therefore Seraph of the End: Season 3 will continue the plot from chapter 42, which marks the beginning of the “Post-Nagoya Arc”. It will follow the Shinoa squad’s efforts to reunite following the recent devastating events in their life.
The true motivation behind the “Seraph of the End” project is revealed, gradually leading up to a showdown between the Shinoa team and their mentor, Guren, who is under Mahiru’s mind control.
