Sunil Koneru, a Dallas Cricket League member from Plano, Texas, has passed away. He died on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in a sad accident, leaving behind his beloved wife, children, friends, and colleagues. He was verified deceased in a message that read, “With a heavy heart, we are sharing the sad news of the sudden demise of one of the DCL members: Shri Sunil Koneru.” He played for the King Cobras team. He died in an accident caused by the opposing driver’s irresponsible driving, which resulted in a head-on collision at the crossroads of I35 and 121 early this morning.”

The fatal events occurred in the early morning hours when a negligent motorist collided head-on with I35 and 121. Sunil died in a tragic accident, leaving behind a bereaved family, shattered friends, and a cricket league mourning the death of one of its own.

Sunil’s life was cruelly cut short in an automobile accident caused by another person’s reckless driving. The incident resulted in a head-on accident, underscoring the importance of driving safely and responsibly.

Who was Sunil Koneru?

Sunil Koneru, from Plano, Texas, was more than simply a good cricketer; he was also a devoted husband, father, friend, and colleague. He played for the DCL’s King Cobras team and was recognized for his enthusiasm for the game as well as his friendliness on and off the pitch. Sunil’s pleasant smile, cheerful nature, and willingness to help others made him popular with everyone he knew.

He received his degree from Bharathidasan University in 1999. Following graduation, he worked as an Application Developer for UHCSR from November 2004 to February 2012, a total of 7 years and 4 months. He then joined UnitedHealthcare Student, where he worked as a Senior Application Developer for three years, from March 2012 to February 2015. Continuing his professional development, he then worked as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at UnitedHealth Group Student for 4 years and 8 months, from March 2015 to October 2019.
