Jacqueline Okwueze was born to her parents Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi and Princess Irene Audrey Thandekile Mzila in 1985 in Ibadan, Nigeria. Jacqueline Okwueze’s age is 39 years.
Jacqueline Okwueze did her studies with a B.A. in Marketing, at Texas Southern University (2006); M.B.A., at Texas Southern University (2008); and a J.D., at Thurgood Marshall School of Law (2011).
Jacqueline’s father is from Nigeria, and her mother is from Ukraine. Her father was often away on business trips, and her mother worked as a nurse at a nearby hospital. She grew up in a household where different languages and cultures were part of everyday life. Jacqueline learned to speak English, Igbo, and Russian. She discovered her passion for tennis early on, inspired by her elder sister, Tanya Okpala, who was a tennis player.
When Jacqueline was 10, her family moved to Kyiv, Ukraine, where her mother was raised. She continued playing tennis and went to a good international school there. When she turned 15, her parents separated and her mother decided to move to the United States with her and her sister. She made her home in Houston, Texas, where her relatives were nearby.
Jacqueline Okwueze is a married woman. Jacqueline Okwueze’s husband is Michael Okwueze. he is a Nigerian-American engineer.
The couple met in 2014 at a mutual friend’s wedding. In 2016, Jacqueline and Michael got married in a traditional Igbo ceremony in Nigeria. The couple have two children.
