According to officials, the Napa lady whose disappearance sparked a Silver Alert throughout multiple counties has been found dead.
Paula Jo Garcia, 77, was last seen at her Napa residence on Georgia Street late on Saturday morning.
Officers thought she could be in St. Helena, but they also issued a Silver Alert for many other counties, including Yolo, Lake, Sonoma, and Solano.

According to the Napa Police Department, Ms. Garcia’s car and corpse were found on the 2200 block of Big Ranch Road in Napa. When she was last seen at her Georgia Street home on Sunday, worried neighbours had reported her missing.
In an effort to find Ms. Garcia, the public notice system known as the Silver Alert was activated. Its purpose is to disseminate information about missing people, particularly elderly individuals suffering from dementia or other mental health issues.

Authorities claimed there were no signs of foul play despite the tragic conclusion. At this time, the reason for death is unknown and will be found out through a medical check.
“This is a devastating loss for our community,” a Napa Police Department official said. “During this extremely trying time, our deepest sympathies go out to Ms. Garcia’s family and friends.”
