Recently, the news of the death of champion bodybuilder Chad McCrary has created a stir in the internet world. Champion bodybuilder Chad McCrary died on January 2, 2024, at the age of 49.

Champion Bodybuilder Chad McCrary was born on April 1, 1974.

According to the report, Cody’s brother Lance McCrary confirmed his brother’s death and thanked people for their condolences “during this difficult time.”

The Texarkana Gazette obituary statement lists Chad McCrary’s death as January 4. The cause of Chad McCrary’s death has not yet been revealed.

According to Per Declan Gallagher of Men’s Journal – “McCrary’s professional bodybuilding career began in 2000 when he weighed 160 pounds. He bulked up to 240 pounds by 2003.”

Chad McCrary was paralyzed from the waist down in a cross-country Motocross race accident in 2005. But after this, he was able to continue competing as a bodybuilder in the wheelchair division.

According to a profile on WheelchairBodybuilding.com – Chad McCrary said he didn’t have much of an adjustment to remain competitive after the accident.

Chad McCrary said- “I was already evolved in bodybuilding and just carried it over to the wheelchair. … Just kept lifting and had to modify most all standing exercises to a seated or lying position.”

Per Declan Gallagher reports, Chad McCrary recently raced in the 2022 Wheelchair Olympia and Arnold Classic. McCrary first entered the top 10 list and later made it to fourth place.

Chad McCrary also won the Heavyweight and Masters divisions at the 2016 NPC Wheelchair Nationals.
