Below Deck, Captain Lee Rosbach is finally stepping off after ten incredible seasons at sea.
The cherished actor will not be returning for the show’s forthcoming 11th season, which will debut in February, Bravo formally revealed during BravoCon 2023. Bravoholics need not worry, though, since a well-known face will be taking Lee’s place.
What Happened to Captain Lee?
As Lee’s replacement, Below Deck Adventure’s Captain Kerry Titheradge will assume command of the M/Y St. David, the network said on November 3. Fraser Olender, Chief Stew, and Ben Willoughby, lead deckhand, are also returning for the upcoming season.
They are joined by Bosun Jared Woodin, Sunny Marquis, Kyle Stillie, deckhands Cat Baugh, Xandi Olivier, and Barbie Pascual, as well as new crew member Chef Anthony Iracane.
Lee’s exit from the show coincides with a stormy season 10 in which the captain’s health problems compelled him to abandon ship mid-charter in order to receive medical attention. Captain Sandy Yawn of Below Deck Mediterranean filled in for him at that time.
However, Lee was able to make a comeback before the season ended thanks to a successful operation to address a nerve issue that made walking difficult for him.
And Captain Kerry’s thoughts on changing the famous sea stud? In the just-released season 11 teaser below, he states, “I know I have big shoes to fill, but I like it that way.”
