Daisy Pearce is a former Australian rules footballer. She was played for the Melbourne Football Club in the AFL Women’s (AFLW).

Recognized as a leading figure in women’s Australian rules football, Pearce served as Melbourne captain from the league’s first season in 2017 until her retirement at the conclusion of season 7. Before the league’s inception in 2016, she had already captained the club in women’s exhibition games.

Daisy Pearce also captained Victoria in the inaugural AFL Women’s State of Origin match in 2017, earning recognition as the best player on the field.

Pearce began her state league journey in 2005 with the Darebin Falcons in the Victorian Women’s Football League (VWFL). She led the club as captain from 2008 to 2016 and appeared in nearly 200 games until her final match in 2017.

Pearce has claimed ten premiership titles (seven as captain), won the league’s best and fairest awards seven times in the VWFL and VFL Women’s (VFLW) competitions, and won the Darebin best and fairest accolade five times.

Representing Victoria at both under-19 and senior level, she was the first choice in the inaugural National Women’s Draft in 2013 and joined Melbourne for the first women’s exhibition game.

After retiring as a player, Pearce turned to coaching. In 2023, she worked as a development coach with the Geelong Football Club’s Australian Football League (AFL) team, and starting from the 2024 season, she will be the AFLW senior coach for West Coast.
