The Los Angeles Rams selected Rapp in the second round (61st overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He became the fifth security personnel elected in 2019. On June 7, 2019, the Rams signed Rapp to a four-year, $4.67 million deal that included $2.12 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $1.41 million.
On March 31, 2023, Rapp agreed to a one-year, $1.77 million contract with the Buffalo Bills. The NFL fined Rapp $9,611 for a helmet-to-helmet hit against wide receiver Davante Adams in a Week 2 win over the Raiders on September 23, 2023.
In the second quarter of the Week 11 game against the New York Jets, he suffered a neck injury after being hit by running back Breece Hall, ultimately being taken off the field in an ambulance. In the season finale against the Miami Dolphins, Rapp made a key interception with 1:13 remaining in the fourth quarter to secure the AFC East title for the Bills.
