C.J. Stroud played every game for the Buckeyes, taking a break in week four against Akron to recover from a shoulder injury suffered in the season opener. Throughout the season, he earned first-team All-Big Ten honors, won Big Ten Quarterback of the Year, earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week six times, and was a finalist for the Davey O’Brien Award and the Heisman Trophy. Notably, Stroud made history as the only Ohio State quarterback to throw five touchdowns against a Big Ten competitor four times in the same season.
