Yamato is a member of the Anbu and a ninja of Konohagakure who is on the same level as Kakashi Hatake. Appears in the second part of the anime. He was also Team 7’s interim leader. In , shortly after his birth, Yamato was kidnapped by Orochimaru to be used in his experiments. After all the other children died and his experiments were discovered, Orochimaru fled Konohagakure.
However, he was his only survivor, relying on his ability to manipulate and grow trees from his body. Successfully graduated from ninja school at the age of 6. In the same year, he also attempted the Chunin Selection Examination and passed with flying colors.
