Discovery Channels have a long history of providing accurate information on instances that fall behind. Or they have been telling the truth for many years to those who have heard about the crime but have never had the opportunity to learn more about it.
A television programme called Investigation Discovery does the same thing by airing true crime and murder tales together with the information that leads to them. In this episode, everyone is revealed, both the offenders and the victims. In reality, it consists of friends and relatives who were intimately familiar with the victim’s case.
This time, we’re here with an article to tell you the truth about a 47-year-old lady who was murdered and her body was buried down between the mountains. The case dragged on for a decade because the perpetrator was never located, and when he was, he was sentenced to 14 years in jail.
So, if you, too, are curious about who the perpetrator, the criminal, and the facts behind the crime. You’ve come to the correct spot; we’ve covered everything in this post to inform you on the crime that occurred years ago.
What Has Happened to Steve Vanderbeek?
Steve Vannderbeek is the spouse of Cindy Vanderbeek, who died in strange circumstances. Her husband murdered her as she was heading for her boat exhibition. After her missing person report was made in 1995, no trace of her was ever recovered.
In 2004, detectives discovered her bones in the mountains and connected them to her DNA. And it wasn’t until 2004-2005 that Steve was eventually accused of being a criminal in his wife’s deaths. As a result, when he was in his 50s, he was sentenced to 7-14 years in jail. When he is in his 60s, he must have finished his sentence of jail and be residing someplace in Maryland or Florida. But, because there is no word on whether he is dead or living, we can’t tell much about his life and stay.
Who Is Cindy Vanderbeek
Cindy Vanderbeek, born Cynthia Louis Vanderbeek, married Steve Vanderbeek. They both resided in Florida and had a great life. They occasionally travelled by boat to other locations to market their wares and items at boat exhibitions.
Cindy was preparing to attend a family gathering in March 1995, according to her sister Sandra DiFranco and mother Camille Catchpole, when Cindy and Steve stopped in Maryland on their way back to Florida. Cindy was overjoyed since she had been appointed as her niece’s godmother. And so were her sister and mother.
Cindy Vanderbeek’s Cause of Death
After there was no word of Cindy’s existence, her family were concerned about what may have happened to their darling Cindy. On the other hand, her husband, Steve, was observed to be carefree and joyful, despite his wife’s absence. Steve was accused of murdering Cindy because he stopped back at Cindy’s residence and transferred substantial sums of money from Cindy and Stev’s joint account and Cindy and Camille’s account.
