The SCSO (South Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office) is looking into a shooting that claimed one life. And two more people were hurt on Gordon Drive on September 9, 2023, on a Saturday night.
Fatal Shooting Near Gordon Drive and Florin Road Leaves One Dead, Two Injured in South Sacramento
Around 10:30 p.m., a shooting took place close to the Gordon Drive and Florin Road intersection. Deputies showed up on the scene. Three victims with gunshot wounds were discovered. A man was one of the victims, and he was declared dead there. A man and a lady were the other two casualties. With non-life-threatening wounds, they were also taken to a nearby hospital.
The names of the victims or a potential explanation for the shooting have not been made public by SCSO. However, they contend that there is no danger to the general public and that the shooting was targeted.
