According to Chicago police, a drive-by shooting early on Sunday in West Garfield Park left five individuals wounded. A 40-year-old lady who was one of the victims was shot numerous times and later declared dead at a hospital. The remaining four victims were transported in decent condition to other hospitals. One of the victims reported to authorities that they were shot at approximately two in the morning in the 4000-block of West Washington Street by someone in a car. No one is currently being held in custody.

Just before 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, a man was shot and killed in another tragic shooting. Cops said that it happened on the 1000-block of North California Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighbourhood. Detectives in the neighbourhood are looking into this, and no one is in custody.

Early on Sunday, a man was shot while bicycling on the Near North Side, according to police. Around 12:15 a.m., in the 600-block of West Scott Street, a 29-year-old male riding a bike was shot in the thigh and arm. He was transported to a hospital in excellent condition. No one is currently being held in custody.

According to authorities, a man was slain in a gunshot on Chicago’s Southwest Side on Saturday afternoon. Around 5:18 p.m., a gunshot took place in the 5000-block of South Talman Avenue in the Gauge Park neighbourhood. A 59-year-old man was standing next to the alley when two people came over. The man was shot in the shoulder by one of them after he grabbed a gun and started shooting. The patient was sent to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Detectives in the neighbourhood are looking into it, but there are no criminals in custody.

Teenager Injured, Failed Robbery, and Shooting on the West Side

A teenage guy was shot in Chicago Lawn less than an hour earlier, according to the police. The 15-year-old was shot in the thigh while in an alley in the 6400-block of South Troy Street at around 4:35 p.m., according to Chicago police. He was transported to Christ Medical Centre in Oak Lawn, where authorities reported that he was in good condition. No one was detained.

On the South Side of Chicago, a failed robbery earlier that day resulted in a gunshot, according to police. It happened at Morgan Park, close to West 110th Street and Western Avenue, at around 1:50 in the morning. Attempts to rob a 22-year-old male at gunpoint, according to the police. Police said that when the victim refused to turn over their items, he was shot in the chest and the offender fled. The person was sent to the hospital and is doing okay now. Police waited a while before disclosing any details about the shooting.

A 17-year-old girl was shot early on Chicago’s West Side less than an hour later. At around 2:45 in the morning, a gunshot took place in the first block of South Spaulding Avenue in the Garfield Park neighbourhood. She reported to the police that she was hit twice by gunfire coming from a moving car. The boy drove himself to Mount Sinai Hospital. Area Four Detectives are conducting an investigation because no one is in custody.
