On New Year’s Eve, a 39-year-old woman died in her West London home, and police have launched a murder investigation. Stephanie Hansen, a resident of Hayes, Hillingdon, died on December 31 at 10:13 a.m. at her Willenhall Drive home. She was discovered with severe injuries by police and paramedics and was pronounced dead at the scene, with a post-mortem set for January 2. A 29-year-old guy has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Stephanie and the accused man were acquaintances. According to Detective Chief Inspector Neil John of the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command, there is no persistent risk to the community.

Police Statement:

“An investigation is underway in Hillingdon on New Year’s Eve,” according to a statement by Hillingdon Borough Police. On December 31, police were called to a house on Willenhall Drive in Hayes at 10:13 a.m. London Ambulance Service paramedics accompanied officers. They discovered a woman with severe injuries died at the site. While final identification is still pending, I believe the lady is Stephanie Hansen. Detective Chief Inspector Neil John of the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command stated:

While our investigation is still in its early stages, I am confident that no further individuals are being sought and homeowners or the wider public. As we try to put together what happened to Stephanie, we’d like to hear from anyone who knew her, had recently seen or spoken to her, and believes they could have information that can aid our investigation.
