Frank Clarke, the 84-year-old Dubliner, passed away on 28th December 2022. Frank was best known for his television show Simply Painting. Despite being neglected by society, he was an artist who initially followed his passion for painting. In the 1990s, his television series Simply Painting was shown worldwide, including in the US, Australia and Europe.

According to his family, the artist, for a long time, had suffered from a long-time illness. Thus the artist died of natural reasons. However, his sudden demise shocked his family, friends and relatives. Frank was sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
Who was Frank Clarke? More About the Artist
Frank, a television host and artist, was born in Dublin. Initially, the artist was involved in garment designing and real estate development but took retirement early in his career to follow his passion for painting. He then joined a painting club but soon realized that he was intimidated. After six weeks, he left the organization after being informed that he did not possess artistic qualities. But Frank was a man of intense determination, and instead of giving up, he decided to pursue his interest.
He then decided to read an art instruction book, and every book he read seemed to start at Chapter 4. Frank then makes up his mind to Penn; these missing chapters introduce his” Have Some More Fun” system. His debut book outsold every other art instruction book. Frank’s book, “Frank Clarke’s Paintbox,” published by BBC, was a great hit.
By that time, he had also produced his first television series, ” Simply Painting”, which was broadcasted on over 250 television stations worldwide. Frank till now created 400 programmes which helped him to gain popularity and were well-known in the US, UK, and Australia. Moreover, Frank also made appearances on all the top chat shows across the world. He recently released his show in China and started his own YouTube account.
