Bojan Jamina, a former Slavia East Sarajevo footballer and former young national team member, attempted suicide at his East Sarajevo residence, according to the “Avaza” portal. The catastrophe, as we learn, occurred in his family’s flat. Jamina was taken to KCUS. He is accused of shooting himself in the temple with a small-calibre handgun. According to an “Avaza” portal source, “There is a slim possibility he will survive.” The reason is yet unknown. Regrettably, he died on December 26, 2022.

Who is Bojan Jamina?

Bojan Jamina appeared as a midfielder in one game for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s U21 national team. On the BiH young national team, he was of the same generation as Safet Nadarevi, Saa Papc, Alen Kor, Demal Berberovi, and Albin Pelak. He was a member of Slavia and Zvezdara from Belgrade after participating in eljezniar’s youth divisions. He took the train from OFK Belgrade to elik Zenica. In 2001, he joined Olimpija Ljubljana, who soon leased him to Triglav. 

Career of Bojan Jamina:

Jamina played for Kozara, Slavia, and our league before returning to elik, where he played from 2004 to 2006. He played for Slavia from East Sarajevo till his career ended in 2011, having completed his second tenure there in the summer of 2006. Throughout his career, he also made four appearances in Europe, especially in the Intertoto Cup, where he scored in a game between Slavia and Sant Julia.
