Former Ireland’s Strongest competitor, Rocko (Ian George) Mckinstry shocked everyone with his sudden demise, just three days after becoming suddenly ill. Rocko at 50 said his final goodbye to the world leaving his fans in shock. His family members announced his death news on Facebook, which reads-
“It’s with great sadness I inform you of the passing of Rocko Ian Mckinstry a Brother of Andrea,s and Brother in law to myself. Taken far too soon we all loved you Rocko.

Rocko’s loving wife, Jenny also posts a heartfelt message informing his death on Facebook:
“Rocko and I have been together for 34 years. I met him when I was 13, and I can’t remember life without him. We were best friends and soul mates.”
“I had talked about getting a new engagement ring and wedding ring and, about a month ago, we went and chose the rings. We were due to collect them last Friday… I got them on Monday, and they are so precious to me now.”
Former Ireland’s Strongest Man Cause of Death Explained
Rocko on 17th December 2022 have its last breath in a hospital, late of Kinallen Road, Ballyward. Mckinstry three days prior to his death suddenly become ill. Rocko at the time of his death was surrounded by his family members. However, his death reason has not been revealed yet. It is not confirmed as to which disease had taken away his life. we will update you as soon as we get any further details about the cause of his death.
A memorial service was held in the First Dromara Presbyterian Church on Tuesday. The NI Chest Heart and Stroke, cheques are made payable to Brain Poots & sons, Funeral services.

One of the worst things anyone can go through in life is losing a loved one. Any journey must have a destination at the end. The person’s time on earth has regrettably come to an end now that they have died.

Who was Rocko (Ian George) Mckinstry?
Rocko ( Ian George) Mckinstry was a former Ireland Strongest Man Competitor, and also competed in many Ulster Strongest Man contests. He gives his major support to building the foundation of the Irish Strength Association. Besides his professional life, Rocko was also a devoted husband to Jenny and a cherished father to Kimberly, Leah, Lydia, and Bethany. He was a proud grandfather of George.
