Dominik Mysterio’s World Wrestling Entertainment/WWE Career
Before Dominik Mysterio became a wrestler, he watched his father wrestle in many matches in WWE. He was in the audience for the June 5, 2003 edition of SmackDown in Anaheim, California, where Dominik’s father won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship by defeating Matt Hardy.
In 2018, Dominik began training with his father and Lethal to become a professional wrestler. On the March 19, 2019, episode of SmackDown Live, Rey Mysterio and Dominik appeared, announcing that they would face Samoa Joe for the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania 35 on April 7.
Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio feuded with Murphy and Seth Rollins in May 2020, leading to Dominik’s first match at SummerSlam on August 23, where he lost to Seth Rollins in a street fight. In October 2020, Dominik was drafted to the SmackDown brand in the draft. On November 22 at Survivor Series, Dominik was defeated in a dual brand battle royal.
As part of the 2021 draft, Dominik and Ray trained for the Raw brand. In January 2022, Dominik entered the Royal Rumble at #14 but was quickly eliminated by Happy Corbin. Similarly, Dominik played matches for WWE and had to face victory and defeat.
