Who is Sheikh Oudh Al Harbi?

According to Arab media, Muawad al-Harbi, a long-time worshipper of Masjid al-Haram, was from Makkah and had the highest life expectancy in Saudi Arabia. Sheikh Oudh Al Harbir attended prayers in Makah’s Masjid al-Haram regularly, earning the nickname “The Dove of the Sanctuary” for his unwavering dedication to this site of worship. Sheikh Oudh Al Harbi spent most of his time in Makkah’s Masjid Al Haram praying and doing Tawaaf.

Makkah was the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad. The Prophet resided in Makkah until he was 53 years old. He afterwards relocated to Madinah, where he died at the age of 63. According to the Prophet Muhammad, one salah in Masjid Al Haram is equivalent to 100,000 prayers. This applies to both required and voluntary prayers.
