Ruth Madoc Verton was an actress as well as a singer who was of British nationality. Root spent 16 years on stage and screen in his career. Ruth is best known for her portrayal of Gladys Pugh in BBC TV’s Hi-De-Hi! I performed “Hi-de-hi!” In the TV series, Ruth worked for 8 years from 1980 to 1988. For Ruth was also nominated for Best Light Entertainment Performance. She is also known for her role as the mother of Dafydd Thomas in the series “Little Britain”. Ruth’s birth name was Ruth Llewellyn. He was born in Norwich, Norfolk, England. Her date of birth was 16th April in the year 1943. Most recently, on 9 December, she died at the age of 79 in a hospital in Norfolk. She died the next day after surgery. Her health was continuously declining. On December 8, it was confirmed on his Instagram that her health was declining since the early week of December. Hearing the news of Ruth’s death, her fans were shocked. Due to the sudden death of Ruth, her fans are not able to believe this.

Ruth Madoc was married twice. In 1961, Ruth first married Philip Madoc. But both of them got divorced in 1981 due to differences and fighting. Ruth married John Jackson in 1982. They were together till last year and were living their married life. But in 2021 John Jackson died suddenly. Ruth has two children with her first husband, Philip Madoc, named Rhys Madoc and Lori Madoc.

Ruth made her acting debut in 1971 in the film “Fiddler on the Roof” in which Ruth played the role of Fruma Sarah. Ruth played Mrs. Dai Bread Too in her second film, “Under Milk Wood”. The following year, in 1973, Ruth made her television debut in the series “Hunters Walk” in which she played Betty Smith. After working in the E series, Ruth became known for her acting.

Then in 1980, Ruth “Hi-De-Hi!” Worked in the series after which she became famous. This series was given a lot of love by the fans due to which the series ran for 8 years. In 2019, Ruth made her final appearance in the series “Casualty”. In 2006, Ruth was awarded an honorary degree by Swansea University. The woman who acted after RADA in “The Black and White Minstrel Show” was Ruth.
