Whitney wrote, “My mother passed away last night just as the credits rolled on her favourite movie.” She included pictures of her mother and her family over the years. “I held her as she breathed her final breaths at 10:32 p.m., the exact moment she brought me into this world over forty years ago,” she added. “My mother is our family’s greatest gift. We could never love, admire, or cherish another person more,” Whitney wrote in an emotional homage to her mother.
Barbara Thore Died as a Result of:
Barbara Thore died from cerebral amyloid angiopathy. Whitney revealed her mother had cerebral amyloid angiopathy, an “untreatable progressive illness caused by proteins in the blood arteries of the brain that cause seizures, dementia, or, like in my mom’s case, brain bleeding.” Barbara has had three strokes since 2017, the most recent on November 13. As her illness progressed, the TLC programme addressed Thore’s health issues.
