A 15-year-old Palo Alto girl and her 12-year-old Portola Valley boyfriend went out on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning and are suspected of fleeing together. Emily Schubert, the girl, has gone missing, according to the Palo Alto Police Department.

Benjamin presumably left with Emily overnight, and acquaintances said they were headed to San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury neighbourhood. Benjamin arrived home at 2 p.m. today. According to the sheriff’s office, he had gone missing alone.
