Who is Raquel Nurse?

Donovan McNabb’s wife, Raquel Nurse, is the director of a foundation.

Raquel Nurse, the basketball player Donovan McNabb’s wife, has a professional interest in sports. When she was younger, she played basketball for the Syracuse Orange women’s team.

Before retiring, her husband played quarterback for the NFL for thirteen seasons. She currently serves as the executive director of the 2019-founded charitable organization Caris Sports Foundation.

The Nurse’s Foundation is raising money to get rid of the financial obstacles that prevent students in kindergarten through 12th grade from participating in sports. She eventually hopes to travel to all 50 states, beginning in areas with established communities, such as Pennsylvania, and Illinois, as well as others.

Sports have always been important to Raquel, and she is aware of the advantages they may provide for young people. She now thinks that the experience contributed to sparking her desire to give kids the chance to participate in sports.

At Villanova University, she also held the position of Assistant Director for the Office of Academic Support.
