They have a “genuine” friendship, says Emma, and she calls it “one of the greatest privileges of my life” to be “seen and cherished like that.”
Excerpts from the memoir state that Tom later confessed his “hidden love” for Emma, but “not possible in the manner that individuals might want to hear.”
Tom was “her first crush,” Emma revealed in 2011; she also said she “fell in love” with her costar while filming the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special.
