Since being selected in 2014, Marcus Smart has become a fan favorite in Boston, and it is easy to understand why. The Celtics guard has established a reputation as one of the scrappiest players in the league by giving every play his all and relentlessly frustrating his opponents. Marcus Smart Early life and Career
Smart went to Edward S. Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas, where he twice won the 5A state championship and helped his team to a 115-6 record throughout three seasons. Smart was ranked as the top shooting guard in the country and the tenth-best player in 2012. He was recognized as a McDonald’s All-American and rated as a five-star prospect by ESPN.com. Smart averaged 15.1 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 5.0 assists at Marcus High during his final year.
Smart played for Oklahoma State for two seasons, the first of which saw him post a 24-8 record and finish third in the Big 12. Despite receiving a No. 5 seed in the 2013 NCAA Tournament, Oklahoma State was defeated by No. 12 Oregon in the opening round. Smart averagely scored 15.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game during that season. He led the Big 12 with 99 steals, averaging three per game. Smart averaged 18 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game in his sophomore season. A contentious fight between Smart and a Texas Tech supporter on February 8, 2014, for which Smart received a three-game suspension, ruined Smart’s season.

Despite Oklahoma State losing to Gonzaga in the NCAA Tournament first round, Smart’s efforts weren’t ignored. In the losing effort, he ended with 23 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists, and 6 steals, making him the first participant in the tournament’s history to record 20 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 5 steals in a single game. Smart declared for the NBA Draft on April 7, 2014.

Young player Marcus is not yet married or engaged. However, he only had one committed relationship in 2018, so far as partnerships go. Maisa Hallum, was his girlfriend. However, the pair is no longer together since they no longer follow one another on social media. In addition to this, he has never dated a woman and is now single. He dedicates all of his time to the court in order to work on his game. We can say that Marcus is now dating his career and becoming better every day at both himself and his game.
