What ‘The Gray Man’ Is All About?

Netflix has produced and will produce more action films this year but ‘The Gray Man’ is said to be its most expensive movie so far. The new action movie will star Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling. No wonder why this film is funded well by the streaming site.

‘The Gray Man’ follows Ryan Gosling as a CIA mercenary who is known as Court Gentry and Chris Evans who is also known as Lloyd Hansen. In a published article in VARIETY, Gentry and Hansen will go head-to-head because the previous wants to outrun the latter.

The official trailer released about the movie how Gentry beats up more men and also how Hansen pinned him down. There are more details that everyone should look out for about the movie. What’s more interesting? Gentry has the drive that hides the dark secrets of the agency.

Production and Cast

According to a published report in The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix funded ‘The Gray Man’ with a whopping amount of $200 million. It is also mentioned in the report that this is so far the streaming site’s most expensive movie they ever funded.

The movie is directed by the Russo brothers and is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Meanwhile, ‘The Gray Man’ will be produced by AGBO and Roth/Kirschenbaum Films. Furthermore, some of the stars include the following:

  • Regé-Jean Page as Denny Carmichael
  • Julia Butters as Claire Fitzroy
  • Alfre Woodard as Maurice Cahill
  • Billy Bob Thornton as Donald Fitzroy

In a published article in COLLIDER, ‘The Gray Man’ will be released in selected theaters starting July 15 and can be streamed on Netflix beginning July 22.
