What’s ‘JOJO’S Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean’?
A Japanese Netflix Original anime series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean is the sixth arc and the fifth season of the popular JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime. The first season of the anime to be a Netflix Original is this one.
Jolyne Cujoh, the daughter of Jotaro Kujo, is sentenced to fifteen years in a maximum-security prison in Florida in 2011 for a crime she was falsely accused of committing and has never committed. Enrico Pucci, a friend of DIO, prepares to carry out DIO’s last desires while she is imprisoned for her family’s century-long feud with DIO.
Release Date of ‘JOJO’S Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean’
Netflix hasn’t announced an exact release date, but we do know that the second half of Stone Ocean, consisting of episodes 13 to 24, will appear in the second half of 2022. Once again, they’ll be available on Netflix before they broadcast on Tokyo MX, BS11, MBS, and Animax.
The manner in which Netflix has handled the distribution of this film has been, to put it mildly, contentious. According to many fans, Netflix Jail, the practice of only releasing new episodes one at a time “kills the buzz” of a popular show.
How Many Episodes Will There Be?
When comparing the length of the Stone Ocean arc to that of the previous three, Stardust Crusaders, Diamond is Unbreakable, and Vento Aureo, it becomes clear that 24 episodes will fall short of the 155 chapters required to complete the series. In terms of manga chapters, Stone Ocean is in second place. With just 152 chapters in Stardust Crusaders, it’s possible that Stone Ocean may have 48 episodes, resulting in four sections.
