It’s finally going to happen! The current issue of Weekly Shonen Jump has just revealed that a Chainsaw Man anime is on the way.
Whose Behind the ‘Chainsaw Man’?
At MAPPA, Ryu Nakayama (Jujutsu Kaisen) will helm the Chainsaw Man anime, which will include a story by Koji Seko (Attack on Titan), character design by Kazutaka Sugiyama (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation), demon design by Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Devilman Crybaby), and music by Kensuke Ushio (Space Dandy, Devilman Crybaby, A Silent Voice).
At Jump Festa 2022, it was revealed that the Chainsaw Man anime will be released in 2022. Even though we don’t have an official release date yet, I’m excited for it to come out next year! Check out everything that’s coming up in 2022, including Chainsaw Man!
Details of ‘Chainsaw Man’ Manga Part 2
In addition to the introduction of Chainsaw Man as an anime, they also announced that the recently released last chapter is not the conclusion of Chainsaw Man, but rather the end of the first arc. Part 2 of the manga’s serialization has already been determined. It was announced during Jump Festa 2022 that Part 2 of the Chainsaw Man manga will begin serialization in early Summer 2022.
The big news they teased was already made, but further details will undoubtedly be revealed during Jump Festa 2021, which will take place on December 19-20. During the event, Chainsaw Man will have its own stage show.
They’ve also unveiled a new adaption website and an official Twitter account, both of which you can follow to stay up to speed on Chainsaw Man’s future adaptation! We don’t yet know when the game will be released, but we’ll keep you updated as we discover more.
