Here are the February payment dates you need to know. If the first of the month occurs on a weekend or public holiday, SSI payments are delivered on the next business day. This means that by February 1, 2022, the beneficiaries of the checks will have received their money.
Adults and children with disabilities or blindness who have income and resources that fall below certain financial thresholds are eligible for SSI assistance. The maximum monthly benefit for SSI in 2022 is $841 per month, or $10,092 per year, according to the Social Security Administration.
Eligibilities
Residents of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the Northern Mariana Islands who are at least 65 years old or who are blind or handicapped, and who have little income or resources are eligible for the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program, which provides monthly payments.
Residency exemptions and SSI payments may be available to children of military parents who are permanently stationed outside the United States, according to the Social Security Administration.
