‘Raised By Wolves’ Season 2 of Ridley Scott’s newest sci-fi thriller launched on HBO Max today, pulling us back into the action. The series, which takes place on an exoplanet where human survivors must fight for their lives against alien life forms, terrifying androids, and foes from their own world, is a startlingly innovative take on the sci-fi genre.

This green-and-blue-tinged thriller was molded by what Guzikowski discovered in the first season. After arriving to Kepler 22-b, Amanda Collin and Abubaker Salim had to learn how to care for their young charges, appreciate, if not also absorb characteristics of humanity, and build enough trust to co-parent efficiently.
With the help of the sci-fi concepts of Ridley Scott (and his direction for the first two episodes), “Raised by Wolves” revealed the inner emotional reality of its characters while transforming the physical environment in which they lived. Human creatures who had regressed and were crawling on all fours were also found in the depths of the pits, as were endless pits and the potential of a greater entity.
