$1,261 to $1,358 Stimulus Check Monthly Benefit
In a recently published article in The U.S. Sun, SSI and Social Security benefits will be paid in a different manner. Social Security Disability Insurance is also subject to the 5.9% COLA hike (SSDI). For the typical handicapped worker, their monthly compensation will rise from $1,282 to $1,358 a month, an increase of $76.
The goal of the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program is to help persons with impairments who are no longer able to work at the same level as previously. It is meant to cover a part of a worker’s wage. The monthly SSI benefit for individuals is $841, while the monthly SSI benefit for couples is $1,261.
The Social Security Administration advises that if you did not get a notice, you may still view the information by logging into your account online. US Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Consumer Price Index (CPI) is used to calculate the Consumer Price Index (COLA), a measure of consumer inflation.

Final stimulus payments costing $650 were paid out to eligible families on January 11. Late in December, about 180,000 payments totaling $127 million were mailed out in California as part of the state’s pandemic stimulus program.
