Back To Work CT Program
Local governments in several states have set up their own programs to help the people who live there, deciding who is eligible and how much they will receive in the fourth stimulus check, according to The Sun. In Connecticut, Governor Ned Lamont announced the Back to Work CT Program on May 17, 2021.
Residents who have been out of work for an extended period of time may be eligible for a $1,000 incentive as part of a program designed to help them get back to work. The funding from the CARES Act was made available to Connecticut as a result of the agreement.

The bonuses awarded under this initiative will total up to $10 million, distributed to 10,000 job seekers. The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services administers the program, and it will be completed on December 31, 2021. According to NBCCT, unemployed Connecticut residents must apply online for a $1,000 bonus; no more paper submissions will be available.
Following eight weeks of continuous employment, Connecticut’s Department of Revenue Services may contact applicants to verify their status. One-time bonuses like this one will help some employees pay for necessities like child care so they can return to work.
