Biden’s Spending Bill

On “FOX News Sunday” Cardin was asked if the Democrats were willing to scale back the trillion-dollar bill even more or pass some of the plan’s provisions separately. Cardin said that the plan was still being “negotiated,” but that Democrats needed to shore upvotes after Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WVa.) revealed his opposition to the bill as he fears inflation and debt, as progressives call on Biden to take executive action.

Furthermore, Cardin said he felt it was feasible to create the law in a way that satisfies both moderates and progressives in the party, despite the difficulty of pleasing both moderates and progressives in the party by what was included or left out of the bill. In addition, Cardin wants to be practical rather than theoretical considerations but also to make sure it deals with the issues that meet the communities betterment

Additionally, Mike Emanuel a gust host at the fox news saying  Some Republican senators have publicly called for Manchin to join the Republican Party after he effectively killed Build Back Better’s prospects of passage, according to Emanuel. Cardin was asked if there was still space for Manchin in the Democratic Party.

Cardin Welcomes Joe Manchin

The Democratic Party is proud of its diverse membership. In Addition, Cardin Welcomed Joe Manchin, as well as Elizabeth Warren, one of the top 10 Democrats who could run in 2024 if Biden doesn’t go for re-election, and everyone in between has plenty of place at our Democratic party.
