How To Know If You Are Eligible for Stimulus Check?
The Golden State Stimulus II funds are now available to citizens of California who:
- In 2021, earned a California Adjusted Gross Income (CA AGI) of less than $75,000
- They must have until October 15, 2021, to file their 2020 taxes.
- Were you a California resident on the day of the payment and for more than half of 2020?
- Other taxpayers did not declare them as dependents.
The cheques for the Golden State Stimulus II have been valued at anything from $600 to $1,200. Residents can utilize a calculator on the California Franchise Tax Board’s website to figure out how much money they should be eligible for.
Americans who are Scheduled to Receive a Payment on Jan. 1, 2022
A total of 8.1 million Golden State Stimulus II payments totaling $5.8 billion have been or will be given out shortly. California began providing the funds in October, with the final round of payments beginning on December 10, 2021. In all, 803,000 payments were included in the latest batch, some of which have already been provided and the rest of which will be distributed soon.
This newest round of checks is valued at roughly $575 million in total and comprises 794,000 paper checks totaling $568 million in total, as well as 9,000 direct payments worth $6.1 million in stimulus funds. Furthermore, California has started distributing funds to citizens according to their zip code. People with zip codes ending in 928-999 will get their payments between December 27, 2021, and January 11, 2022.
