Three States Giving $500
The federal government distributed more than $1 trillion in stimulus funds to low- and middle-income Americans in three separate checks. Even though another stimulus payment from the federal government is possible, the chances are slim. However, just in time for the holidays, some hard-working Americans may be receiving stimulus payments if you live in one of the three states that will receive $500 checks, as per The Sun.
Maryland Stimulus. A state-wide stimulus check was only issued to Maryland residents who filed their earned income tax credit. Individuals were given $300, while those who had children received $500.
Michigan Stimulus. Hazard pay bonuses of $500 are available to Michigan teachers.
Tennessee Stimulus. A $1,000 bonus for full-time public school employees and a $500 bonus for part-time public school employees were enacted earlier this year in Tennessee by the state legislature. Individuals who were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic will benefit from the assistance, which is aimed at helping them get back on their feet.
