Benzene is Dangerous
Antiperspirants and deodorants have similarities but work in a different methods to reduce body odor. Antiperspirants’ job is by reducing sweat to the body while deodorants increase skin acidity. The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) announces the risk of the benzene to human carcinogen it takes place by inhalation, orally, and through the skin resulting to be cancerous including causes of acute myeloid leukemia and blood cancer of the bone marrow and blood disorders which can be life-threatening.

In a report from Newsweek, the spokesperson of Procter & Gamble said that the benzene is not an ingredient to any products “testing revealed unexpected detection of benzene in some Old Spice and Secret aerosol spray antiperspirant and Old Spice Below Deck products.” In addition, experts said that if anyone has any reaction towards the product should report it to FDA’s MedWatch.
