According to CBS News, researchers from the University of Michigan did a May analysis and had discovered that the three waves of stimulus money averted hardship for millions of Americans. However, when stimulus fails, as it did last fall when Congress couldn’t agree on another round of help, the difficulty increases “significantly” in November and December.

Advocacy Group Sent a Letter To Formally Ask Congress for the Stimulus Check
The Advocacy group Senior Citizen League had sent a letter to formally ask Congress for a stimulus check, specifically for Social Security recipients. In the letter, the league had said that they believe that a particular stimulus for Social Security recipients could help offset the higher cost that some of them would face. This campaign had started in September, and the group also prepared an online petition.
However, though the reasons that are mentioned above indicate why these checks might materialize, there are also reasons that they might not. One reason is that the Biden administration is concentrating its efforts on advancing its infrastructure plan, which would change the economy by repairing old schools, roads, and airports and investing in affordable housing and broadband.
