An unfortunate accident had happened in Walnut Creek, California, Friday morning when authorities received a report that a man had crashed and was hit by another vehicle right after.
On Friday, a man who crashed into a sound wall survived but died right after being hit by another vehicle when he got out of his car and walked in the roadway of the busy Walnut Creek City in Contra Costa County, California, in the area of Oak Grove and Ygnacio Valley roads.
The Crash Accident
A city spokeswoman already stated and confirmed that the man was apparently walking into the roadway through Walnut Creek when a vehicle struck him Friday morning. The crash was reported at precisely 7 a.m.
According to Betsy Burkhart, the city spokeswoman, the man was driving a sedan in the area of Ygnacio Valley and Oak Road when the man crashed into a sound wall. The man then got out of the car and walked into a busy roadway that made him lost his life when he was struck by a vehicle that he was on the path of.

Adam Kao
The man was later identified by the Contra Costa County Coroner’s office as a resident of the Walnut Creek named Adam Kao, 54-years old. Kao died shortly after because of the injuries that he got from the incident.
According to Burkhart, the woman who drove the vehicle that struck the 54-Year Old had stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.
According to the authorities, the Eastbound Ygnacio Valley road area was shut down until early noon while the police investigated the site and the collision.
As of now, there is no additional information about the case.
